Symptoms that Follow a Panic AttackAnxiety attacks can be indicated by a myriad range of symptoms, including chest pain, irregular heartbeats, twitching, trembling, shaking, hot flashes, “rubber legs”, chills, tingling in extremities, body tension, unpredictable sleeping patterns, aches and pains, clamminess, sweating, and nausea. The emotional signs include terror, fearfulness, incredible self-consciousness, insecurity, apprehension, dread, irritability, a feeling that one is about to perish, an urge to escape, etc. Such emotions, when experienced, are very difficult to handle.
